For offer today I have this wonderful sterling silver collar necklace and pendant from David-Andersen Norway!
This beautiful necklace is constructed entirely from a thick sterling silver band that has been formed into a rigid collar shape. The front of the necklace has a long V-shaped drop for holding and accentuating large silver pendants. The pendant is a marvelous mid-century modernist creation. It has a deep, three-dimensional oval top with two very long concave dangles at the bottom. The long drop of the collar and superb modernist design of the pendant is a striking combination. It is modern, chic and absolutely beautiful!
The collar measures approximately 15 1/4 inches around with a 1 1/8 inch wide opening in the back. The drop in the front of the collar measures 1 1/2 inches. It is signed and hallmarked "D-A Norway Sterling 925 S" on the back. The pendant is approximately 3 1/4 inches long and 1 3/16 inches wide. It is signed and hallmarked "925 S David-Andersen Norway Sterling" on the back of one of the dangles. The combined weight of the set is 23.6 grams.
