Vintage Yellow Gold Filled Folding Knife Watch Fob Pendant - Initial K - Signed #d485

Regular price $18.00
This late Art Deco piece was created by the Jewelry and Cutlery Novelty Company of Attleboro, MA circa the 1930s. It is a folding pocket knife fob that would have been worn on a gentlemen's watch chain. The knife is gold filled with machine-turned decorative lines on the front and back. A blank area on the front of the knife case has been engraved with a lovely letter K in script. The knife has a groove on the edge to extend the blade. The knife has a moveable bail for adding it to a watch chain or other chain. It's both a useful and beautiful piece!

The knife fob measures about 1 7/8 inches long and 7/16 inch wide closed and is about 2 3/4 inches long with the blade fully extended. It weighs 6.9 grams and is signed "J & C.N. CO. Quality" on the end of the bail.

This is a nice piece to add to a vintage watch chain or chatelaine and would make a nice personalized gift for someone with a name beginning with a K. The outside of the knife case has some finish wear from previous use and the blade has dark patina spots that can be seen in the photos. The knife is tight and takes a bit of a hard tug to extend. It is in good vintage condition otherwise. It has been priced accordingly.
