Vintage Navajo Fatoya Yazzie Sterling Silver Elk Moose Deer Brooch - Native American #c814
This beautiful sterling silver brooch was created by Navajo silversmith, Fatoya Yazzie. It's a more contemporary vintage Navajo piece that depicts the figure of an elk, moose or deer. The brooch has been intricately cut out is very highly detailed from its antlers down to its hooves, giving the piece a wonderful realistic appearance. The brooch is finished in a bright, shiny smooth silver. It's a fabulous statement brooch!

The brooch measures about 2 13/16 inches long, 2 1/4 inches wide and weighs 11.5 grams. It is signed "FY" for Fatoya Yazzie and hallmarked "Sterling" on the back of the brooch.

This is a delightful brooch by a very talented silversmith! It is so beautiful and my pictures just don't do it justice, as shiny silver is notoriously difficult to photograph. It would make a fine addition to a Navajo silver jewelry collection and a fantastic gift. It would also be a marvelous piece to wear during Christmas and would make a nice gift for the nature lover. The brooch is in excellent vintage condition and ready to wear or to gift!
