Vintage Otis Sterling Silver Bar Pin Brooch, Late Art Deco, Blue Sodalite, Mexican Influence, Openwork, Cutout, Gorgeous! #c181
For offer today, I have this beautiful late Art Deco sterling silver and blue sodalite bar pin brooch from the Otis Company!

This wonderful bar pin brooch is rectangular in shape and comprised of fine sterling silver. The brooch has an openwork design with wonderful bead, rope and fan-shaped details that have a definite Mexican influence. An oval-shaped, blue sodalite stone has been set vertically in the center of the brooch and is the perfect complement to the flowing silver designs. It's such a fabulous piece!

The brooch measures about 7/8 inch long, 2 1/4 inches wide and weighs in at a substantial 12.2 grams. It is hallmarked "Sterling" and marked "Otis" on the back of the brooch.

This brooch is so unusual and beautiful and it's an Otis piece that I have never seen before. It would make a fine addition to a sterling silver jewelry collection or a marvelous gift for someone special. The silver is bright and shiny and the stone is such a gorgeous blue! It has been extremely well cared for and is ready to wear or to gift right out of the box!
